About NutriJalan
About NutriJalan and our dietitian team
An online nutrition consultation service in Kelapa Gading, Jakarta Utara, working with registered dietitians to build meal plans that fit real daily routines.
Why we set up an online service
Jakarta traffic eats time, and a consultation you keep postponing is a consultation that never happens. We built NutriJalan around remote sessions so distance and schedules stop being the reason people put off getting nutrition support. A parent in Bekasi and a worker near our office in Kelapa Gading can both get the same quality of guidance. The form-driven process keeps it organized.
NutriJalan is an online nutrition consultation service based in Kelapa Gading, Jakarta Utara. We work with registered dietitians (ahli gizi) to provide practical meal planning and family nutrition guidance across Indonesia. The idea behind the service is simple: good nutrition advice should fit your daily routine, not the other way around.
Who we work with
Our consultations are handled by registered dietitians. In Indonesia, that credential reflects formal nutrition training and a registration pathway, which is why we look for it when we bring someone onto the team. You are talking to someone trained in nutrition who can give specific, grounded guidance for your situation.
- Formal nutrition training Every dietitian on the team holds the registered dietitian credential, so the advice you receive comes from someone whose training in nutrition is verifiable.
- Focused on everyday eating Sessions cover meal planning, food choices, and family nutrition — the practical side of eating well at home, at work, and at the warung down the street.
- Matched to your situation Dietitians specialise by stage of life and goal. The registration form tells us enough to pair you with someone whose work lines up with yours.
Our approach
Understanding comes before any plan
We start by understanding, not prescribing. The dietitian asks about your pola makan, your schedule, and what your household eats. Assessment comes first, then a plan. That sequence matters: a meal plan built without knowing your daily reality is guesswork. We would rather ask two more questions than hand you a generic template.
In practice, that first conversation usually covers when you eat, who you cook for, which dishes already appear at your table, and where the friction sits — the late evenings, the office lunches, the weekend family gatherings. Only then does a dietitian propose changes, and usually only a few at a time.
The values we hold to
A plan you can't follow isn't a plan
We keep advice realistic. We favour concrete food choices over abstract rules, and we adjust for how Indonesian families actually eat, which means rice, tempeh, vegetables, and the dishes you already cook. We also keep the language plain. Nutrition guidance should not require a glossary.
Concrete over abstract
You get specific foods and simple swaps, not a rulebook you have to interpret at dinner time.
Built for local tables
Guidance works with the dishes your household already cooks — rice, tempeh, vegetables, and the warung food on busy days.
Plain language, always
If a term needs a glossary to land, we explain it in ordinary words instead.
Education as part of the service
Consultation is a chance to learn, not just receive instructions. Part of our role is explaining why a plan is built the way it is, so you can make decisions when your routine changes. If you understand how to balance a plate, you can do it at a restaurant you have never visited. That transferable knowledge is what makes nutrition support last.
Dietitians walk through the reasoning behind each suggestion, so the next time a schedule shifts or a favourite dish is on the table, you know how to adjust without booking another session for every small change.
Matching you with the right dietitian
Not every dietitian focuses on the same stage of life. We match you based on your goal and situation, so a family planning meals for young children gets someone who works on that, and an older adult gets someone familiar with their needs. The registration form gives us what we need to make a sensible match rather than a random one.
The form asks about your goal, your household, and roughly how your week runs. That is enough for us to route you to a dietitian whose day-to-day work lines up with what you are trying to change.
Where we are based
Most consultations happen online, but knowing where we are grounded helps. We are a Jakarta service, and the local context shapes how we think about food and daily life.

What we don't do
NutriJalan stays within nutrition support. We don't handle matters that need a medical professional, and we'll say so if your situation calls for one. Our focus is everyday eating, meal planning, and family guidance. Staying in our lane is how we keep the advice honest and useful.
We keep to everyday nutrition guidance
Sessions cover meal planning, food choices, and family nutrition. When something sits outside that, we tell you plainly rather than stretching the advice.
We don't promise a fixed outcome
Nutrition guidance is a process that depends on your routine, your household, and how much you can realistically change. We describe what a plan covers and what it asks of you, not a number we can't stand behind.
We focus on food, not shortcuts
Our work is meals, portions, and habits built around the dishes you already eat. We don't recommend quick fixes, and we keep the conversation on food and daily routine.
Start with your registration
Send us a short description of your goal, your household, and how your week usually runs. We will match you with a registered dietitian who works on that, and you will hear back about the next session window.
